After three days of almost 270 kilometres through Upper Galilee (northern Israel), and climbing something crazy like 5,000 meters, we did more than survive. Partner Karen Duff and I came in second place out of four women’s only groups, beating out the Americans and coming in behind the Israeli national team–so we don’t feel so bad.
